Terms and conditions of the Prinz Rudolf Smarthotel
Arrival/departure
On the day of arrival, rooms are available from 15.00 p.m. On the day of departure we ask you to vacate the rooms by 10.30 a.m. Should you arrive later than 22.00 p.m., we kindly ask you to give us a short notice.
Local tax
Local tax of €3.40 per night/person (14 years and older) is not included in the price and will be charged locally.
Reservation validity
Your reservation is considered valid after it has been submitted by you in writing and confirmed by us in writing, and when your credit card number, including the expiry date, has been deposited as a guarantee.
Accepted means of payment
Cash, CE card, credit cards (we do not accept American Express, Diners and JCB cards).
Cash payment
Please note that cash payments in Italy are only possible up to a maximum amount of €2999.99.
Room of your choice
Reservations for some rooms and some floors cannot be guaranteed, but we will do our best to meet your needs.
Individual use of rooms
For single use of our rooms we charge a supplement of 30% - 50% of the daily price depending on the season.
Prices for children (in parents' room)
0-3,99 years: free of charge
4-9,99 years: 50% off the list price
10-17,99 years: 20% off the list price
CANCELLATION FEES
Cancellation up to 14 days before arrival is free, from 14 to 7 days before arrival 50% of the total amount will be charged. From 7 nights before arrival the entire stay will be charged.
Room cancellations are valid only in writing.
Cancellation insurance
We recommend our guests to use the travel cancellation insurance, which is integrated in the online booking!
Room cleaning
Daily room cleaning is included in the price.
Guest card
We offer the free Guest Card for discounts on many facilities in Merano and surroundings.
Pets
On request we accept dogs, but not in all types of rooms. We kindly ask you to announce your arrival with your dog in advance, the supplement is €15 per night and refers to the additional costs for the final cleaning of the room. Dogs are allowed in our restaurant area, but not in the SPA and pool area.
SUEDTIROL ALTO ADIGE GUEST PASS
Upon completion of the accommodation contract, the Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass (consequently Guest Pass) will be issued to the guest, which according to the decision of the South Tyrolean regional government No. 732/2022, is valid for the entire duration of their stay as well as from 0:00 on the day of arrival unto 24:00 on the day of departure.
• The Guest Pass includes the use of all public transport within the “südtirolmobil” network area as well as additional services, which vary depending on the tourism organization. Detailed information can be found at: suedtirol-guestpass.info
• The sole entity carrying the Guest Pass in South Tyrol is the Mobilitätskonsortium, appointed as the unified coordination point in accordance with the above decision of the South Tyrolean regional government by the Provincial Association of Tourism Organizations of South Tyrol on November 16, 2022.The details of the additional services associated with the Guest Pass and the conditions of use of the Guest Pass are communicated by the third party responsible for issuing and managing the Guest Pass.
